So why hasn't Jeff Snook and his info been shown nationally?

Seems like ESPN, Yahoo, Fox, CBS and BleacherReport went with the story by McMuprhy and feasted off of it. But when Snook came with credible info and rebuttals, they declined to acknowledge him. Is this because he's not part of the "fraternity" of sports writers?
