I watched the PSU game again and noticed one thing about Tate that has been there all season long. He is always, always, always present, front and center in the sideline huddles, right at Urban's side and he is one of the first guys to greet the O coming off the field. Talks to JT a lot and appears totally engaged/focused.
I was one of the guys who rolled my eyes at his antics and I still think he is probably in that Mayfield/Manziel/McSorely vein of QB's who annoy the hell out of me. Between the little tidbits of information that come out about his play on scout team as Mayfield/McSorely/Army QB and what I see on the sidelines, the kid is clearly trying his damnedest to earn respect.
