They haven't played great but when you replace your whole secondary annually there's going to be some hiccups. Which is why our offense has to help them out some and not keep them on the field against a QB like Mayfield. You can almost pencil Oklahoma and Mayfield in for 24 points minimum a game. It's not realistic to expect every DB we have to step in and be a first round draft pick. The defense did enough to put us in a position to win that game last night, they weren't lights out but your not going to shut Mayfield down with a whole new back 7 really. Again not claiming this a great defense which is even more of the reason we need to be at the very least competent on offense and help keep them out some.
