Not a super eventful day but a few things worth keeping an eye on, including the Buckeyes continuing to push really hard for a Rivals100 defensive tackle which I will discuss below.....

- Tim Beck has spent some time in Texas this week recruiting, yesterday he checked in on Tristen Wallace and today an offer was put out to class of 2017 four-star linebacker Baron Browning, one of the nation's best juniors. Browning already holds 20 scholarship offers.

- After spending a couple days in Michigan, Kerry Coombs was back in Ohio today hitting high schools in the Cincinnati area. He'll stay in the Queen City tomorrow.

- Larry Johnson was at Cedar Grove High School outside of Atlanta today to watch Rivals100 DT Antwuan Jackson's spring game. Jackson is still talking about making multiple trips to Ohio State this summer and the Buckeyes remain among the biggest competition to in-state UGA for Jackson's commitment. Southeast analyst Woody Wommack caught up with Jackson after the game to get the latest. At this point, I very much believe that Ohio State is running 2nd to Georgia and that the gap is narrower now than it was in the spring. If these summer visits materialize, it could get interesting.

- 2017 Toledo Central Catholic two-way lineman James Hudson continues to pick up interest and offers. Hudson recently landed an offer from West Virginia and then today added Kentucky so things are starting to fall into place for one of the better rising junior prospects in Ohio. Hudson will get a close look from the Buckeyes this summer at one of the elite one-day camps.

- 2017 Cleveland Heights wide receiver Jaylen Harris is also continuing to pick up some big offers. West Virginia is the latest there, joining Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, and Tennessee. This is shaping up to be the best wide receiver class in Ohio in a long time. Harris, Danny Davis, and Javonte Richardson will all camp with the Buckeyes in June and it is going to be fascinating to see what the staff does here with offers. It's a foregone conclusion that at least one of these three will be offered but the reality is that all three are good enough so some really tough decisions are on the horizon.
