Some of you guys were right about Herman possibly staying in Houston...
I was at the game last night and they still couldn't fill the damn 40,000 capacity stadium...
Tom deserves better....
There is young manager at one of our favorite restaurants here (that is also an aeronautical engineering major at U of H). He told us that before the season started last year... his teacher stopped class and Coach Herman came in and asked the class to please start coming to the games... He said Coach Herman promised the students that " we will win every home game if the students show up, cheered the team on and helped fill up the stadium". He apparently went to many classes to "beg" the students to start coming to the games.
Well Tom has certainly held up his end of the bargain... They have never lost at home..
There were no conflicts with Texans, Astros or Rockets last night either.
It has improved greatly... But yeah... Tom deserves an LSU or UT type fan-base.
After a slow start... U of H looked great again... and Greg Ward Jr.. jumped back in the Heisman race (32-38 passing - 5 TDs total)
