i will start off by saying I wish I could have made it down, last minute items came up and did not allow for it. My boy was crushed but I will try to make it up to him in the future.
First off, thank you Coach Meyer. My goodness what a run. Thank you. Words really cannot express what we witnessed. I mean our expectations were so fricken wild that. 13 win season seemed like a let down. If you would have told me that with everything that happened, that we would win 13, curbstomp TTUN, win the big ten and the rose bowl, I would have called you effing nuts. What a ride.
Mr Haskins: It’s been a fun season, we got to witness him grow up overnight. Truly cannot be overstated how much he grew this season. I echo others that he would benefit from another year but the market is good, go get paid.
The WR group: What a group of really special men. They fought and fought and became such a strong foundation for us. Thank you for staying and helping hold this team together. McLaurin gunning today and all season was phenomenal. Really fun to watch.
Weber played with the NFL picture in mind tonight. Hit the hole decisively and hard.
Okudah and Sheffield and White: they played tremendous tonight. Really well done and saved us numerous times. And how about white: he didn’t start until what, game ten? Just awesome.
The dline group played their tails off. They lived in the backfield. LBs played better and overall a solid game.
Overall, even though we took our foot a bit off the gas, I’m not going to complain. This season could have been much worse.
Next year,
I’m looking forward to seeing how Day handles everything. Should be interesting for sure. With whatever happens on the QB front, I hope the best man wins. I like and respect Martell, also think he wins it. With that being said, as long as it’s a fair competition, I’m happy. (Obviously my happiness doesn’t matter much here). Regardless, should be an interesting season and I look forward to backing this team through the highs and the lows. Which brings me to the final section.....
