HISTORY WITH ‘THAT TEAM UP NORTH’

Ohio State first faced the Wolverines in 1924 and have met up in a dual 87 times. While Michigan owns a 64-20-3 edge in the all-time series, recent history has been dominated by the Buckeyes. Ohio State has won seven of the last 10 duals and has earned a higher finish at both the Big Ten Championships and NCAA Championships in each of the past seven seasons (2012-18). That run includes the 2015 national team title, a feat which still eludes ‘that team up north.’ The Buckeyes have garnered more individual NCAA champs as well, holding a 23-22 advantage all-time.
