How much of this weirdness in press conferences is put on the Day vs marketing/public relations team? I will not pretend to know the inner workings of the marketing/public relations team, but it does not make sense to put Day in front of the media until some of the decisions are made, or at least wait until your BOB makes a decision. There is a narrative in conferences I am sure the program wants to push, but the timing of this conference does not allow that narrative to happen. Again, it's just weird all around.
