Let me count the things I witnessed that I haven't seen in years:

- Creative offensive sets with some back cuts for easy baskets against a great defensive team
- Marc Loving acting like he cared about the outcome
- A player SPRINTING to help up a teammate that was knocked down on the baseline
- Made free throws
- Marc Loving acting like he cared about the outcome
- A big with a sweet shot from 3-point land
- Matching the toughness of the opponent
- Marc Loving acting like he cared about the outcome
- EDIT: Forgot to add - players that actually look like they have a S&C program. Both Tate and Lyle look to be in much better physical shape.

This is still a flawed team and not ready to say it has the potential to get out of the first weekend in The Dance, but much to like, even without KBD playing. Lyle still holds the ball too much of the time, the TO's have to stop, and they need better sets for Kam against good defensive teams, but I think I'll enjoy this version better than the last few years.
