Yes its only been 3 games. Yes we havent been truly tested.. but last year after three games we already knew our defense was suspect. This year is completely flipped and one of our strongest parts of the game right now.
lets take a look at the top teams and total defense and then lets look at the offense
1. Clemson total defense15 ------ offense 13
2. Alabama total defense 40 ------- offense 8
3. Georgia total defense 10 -------- offense 7
4. LSU total defense 34 ------- offense 10
5. Oklahoma total defense 58 ------- offense 1
6. Ohio State total defense 12 ------- offense 25
7. Notre Dame total defense 68 ------- offense 22
8. Auburn total defense 31 ------- offense 39
9. Florida total defense 33 ------- offense 59
10. Michigan total defense 20 ------- offense 79
3 weeks in and we have the 2nd best defense of the top 10 teams. if you told me that before the season id call you a liar. (some teams only have played 2 games)
