Friday will be last my final day on Dotting the 'Eyes and with Rivals.com.

This decision is not one that I’ve made lightly and it’s also not one that is directly related to the events of the last month, just for clarity’s sake. This is something that I’ve been mulling over since last summer and with all the other changes going on in my professional life over the last few weeks, it feels like the right time to take a leap of faith and put myself in a different situation.

Austin and I will continue to work together in other formats and I know that he’s already begun seeking out a replacement for me on the recruiting side of things for this website. I hope that everyone will give him a chance to do that before making any decisions about the membership here.

I truly appreciate everyone’s support here over the last almost three years and I know there will be some that are agitated by me moving on but at this point it’s the right decision for my wife and myself. I hope that everyone subscribed here stays subscribed here to support Austin—and whomever replaces me—or at least give it a shot without me here.

Thank you again for everything, I never take for granted that your support allows me to do this for a living and it means the world to me. I will be remaining in the Ohio State market and will be making an announcement about those plans later this week.

Buckeyes have added a fourth scholarship quarterback to the room, as expected. Working on finding out more about Eli Brickhandler and trying to set up a recording time with him, but Ohio State did find the depth it was looking for at the position in the former Houston Christian passer.

Let's start a new one now that the reports are heating up and the real info is coming out.

Don’t see it happening for OSU and Troy Pikes and believe Buckeyes will stand pat on the DT situation. Just not a great fit and doesn’t improve the roster.

Jaden Ball and Justin Terry, OL from Purdue and WVU respectively, however I think make a ton of sense for Buckeyes right now and I expect that they’ll both join the fray in the near future.

I couldn’t find a thread dedicated to just basketball recruiting so I figured I would start one now. Buckeyes currently have guard John Mobley Jr as the only commit in this class but will wind up with 1-2 more by the end of this cycle. Amier Ali is a borderline 5 star in most services and dropped his top 8 today. He has an OV to Ohio State in early May and in my opinion, is a must get, program changing type of player. Other top targets include SG Jonathan Powell and PF Tyler McKinley
