When Maryland and Rutgers joined the big ten viewed the city as opportunity to increase their
brand to the area. If I recall correctly, they were gonna open a satellite office in NYC. Have they
done so? With the exception of the big men’s basketball tournament and some hockey games
at MSG what have they done? I ask because after watching the Finebaum show he mentioned
how his bosses asked him to do his show from NYC twice week for the explicit purpose that
it would be good for the SEC. It’s a shame imho how the big network has been unable to produce
an early morning talk show but the ACC Network which just started already has one. Is the BIG
losing an opportunity in the NYC and DMV area? I realize they had a great financial year but one
should always be open to new revenue stream. Just asking!
