I can confirm that Ryan Day was at Cam Martinez’s basketball game tonight. Obviously would be ideal to have a defensive back coach helping to try to keep Cam in the fold but you have to believe Day is communicating the plan there and just asking Martinez to be patient until the hire is made.
I do still expect said hire to be Kerry Coombs but that won’t become official until the Titans lose this weekend or play in the Super Bowl in a couple weeks.
