Was curious as to what picks you all liked in the 1st round?
I actually loved the Clelin Ferrell pick by the Raiders. People get too infatuated with 40 yard dash times with pass rushers, but I want to see production. He got 1.5 sacks on Jonah Williams and was productive all the way back to when Clemson beat us 31-0 and he was the game MVP. People want Josh Allen and rank him higher, but he reeks of Dante Fowler and other "can't miss" DEs from the SEC who have underwhelmed. I agree with Ferrell and Bosa being side by side, with Nick obviously being rated higher. He was also a captain of a National Championship team. Great pick.
The Andre Dillard pick couldn't have been more perfect for the Eagles. Jason Peters is finishing up his HOF career and Dillard can slot in at guard for 1-2 years before taking over. The second best pass blocker behind Jonah Williams, great value here.
My favorite pick of the draft came from the best franchise in the NFL, as the Patriots took N'Keal Harry with pick 32 of the 1st round. I had him in our Buckeye Grove College Fantasy league, so I stayed up late when they played MSU and he was bracketed basically on every play. Still scored the game-tying TD and was a monster all year. Super aggressive catching the ball. Patriots of course nab him and he'll be a superstar there in a hurry.
