Spoke with a very good source who believes Texas leads for Rivals250 safety Lathan Ransom heading into this weekend but that Ohio State is actually the top competition, not Notre Dame or LSU.
I find that pretty darn interesting as I wouldn't have had OSU ahead of Notre Dame going on my own information.
This person has no reason or motive to be overly optimistic for OSU's chances either, in fact probably the opposite so him indicating that he believes it's UT or OSU is certainly eye-opening.
