Friday will be last my final day on Dotting the 'Eyes and with Rivals.com.
This decision is not one that I’ve made lightly and it’s also not one that is directly related to the events of the last month, just for clarity’s sake. This is something that I’ve been mulling over since last summer and with all the other changes going on in my professional life over the last few weeks, it feels like the right time to take a leap of faith and put myself in a different situation.
Austin and I will continue to work together in other formats and I know that he’s already begun seeking out a replacement for me on the recruiting side of things for this website. I hope that everyone will give him a chance to do that before making any decisions about the membership here.
I truly appreciate everyone’s support here over the last almost three years and I know there will be some that are agitated by me moving on but at this point it’s the right decision for my wife and myself. I hope that everyone subscribed here stays subscribed here to support Austin—and whomever replaces me—or at least give it a shot without me here.
Thank you again for everything, I never take for granted that your support allows me to do this for a living and it means the world to me. I will be remaining in the Ohio State market and will be making an announcement about those plans later this week.
