There is no doubt that this situation is a "blackeye" for our program and will be used in negative recruitment scenarios. It's no wonder Urban leans toward later date offers to recruits, where both the recruit and the program have a better idea where they stand in the pecking order. But with the earlier and earlier offers being awarded in order to "show the love" (Which seems to benefit programs), this is but a precursor of what we can expect to occur from time to time, as offers are awarded like pop tarts.
