I was born a proud Buckeye and I will die one. I was born in October and 10 weeks later received Buckeye gear for Christmas...a tradition that my mom has maintained for all 57 of my Christmases.

This incredible university has given me countless lifetime memories. It has granted me a degree and just 3 weeks ago, granted my son one as well. He is currently working on his second degree while working at OSU. My sisters have a combined 3 degrees from OSU.

This incredible university has the power to connect all of us despite living thousands of miles away. It even has the power to connect me with my father who passed years ago. I pray it does the same for my son some day.

The second to last thing I said to my father while holding his hand as he passed away was "say hello to Woody for me." That's how deeply this incredible university is woven into my DNA.

There is no coach, no decision, no AD that will ever hold more importance to me than this incredible university. I am proud and humbled our family name can be found around campus. I will never stop giving, stop donating, stop cheering, stop loving this incredible university.

I thought about writing a little on how sickened I am to read posts on here claiming they will no longer give. I get it. You're mad. You're entitled to stop supporting this incredible university but I hope you don't. Instead of writing about my disgust with people on here attacking the Board, attacking the AD, attacking the wealthy who give and the busy business executives who volunteer their time to be trustees, I will return to the words that helped me nearly a decade ago. Say hello to Woody for me Dad. I love you.
