Consider me a chip Kelly fan. I don’t care whatever stat some contrarian shows me that “it’s actually not that bad” “it’s just a few plays a game” Commercials were bad before… now it’s noticeably even more awful, and for what?

1. We now have a lower chance to separate quickly from inferior competition/higher chance for inferior opponent to sit on the ball all game and hope you make a mistake and have the game be a higher variance 21-17 final that can go either way.

2. Less opportunities for big comebacks that make CFB exciting .

Devin Brown still expected to play as well.

I think It's going to be difficult for Marvin to win the award this year. I just don't think Kyle is going to be good enough to get Marvin the numbers he needs. He is still the best WR in the nation but stats are important. Its only one game but what are your thoughts?

Is it just me or is our OL just getting mauled?

Here's a reality check. Don't expect this team to beat Notre Dame, Maryland, Penn State, Wisconsin and Michigan by 30 points and do it in dominating fashion. It's not going to happen.
There is too much parity this season in college football for that to happen. As Urban Meyer liked to say: these games will be street fights. Take the wins any way we can get them and survive to play again.
Celebrate the heroics as we go. Winning is all that counts. Remember the Jim Tressel and Meyer championship teams. They had their share of nail-biters and heart stoppers. No team will be perfect every week.

Are the sins of Day last year turning McCord into a hand off machine and not allowing him to operate the offense coming back to haunt OSU with these growing pains?
