The latest from five-star safety Peyton Woodyard..

During his recruitment, Woodyard never saw Ohio State practice so he and his parents felt it prudent to see how the coaches interact with the players during a workout. His relationship with assistant coach Perry Eliano has stood out through his recruitment so the family wanted to do their "due diligence."

The five-star safety remains fully committed to Georgia but the trip to Ohio State is important and the family will head out to Alabama on Thursday morning and will be there until Friday as assistant coaches Holmon Wiggins and Travaris Robinson have also been pushing for the Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco prospect.

2024 NFL Draft

C&P from an article breaking down the early names at each position group for next year’s draft

  1. It's not exactly bold to proclaim Marvin Harrison Jr. will be the first receiver selected in the 2024 NFL draft. NFL scouts are already salivating over the Hall of Fame wideout's son.
But there is a ton of talent behind him.
Ohio State teammate Emeka Egbuka is another high-end prospect,

  1. Blake Corum (Michigan) and TreVeyon Henderson(Ohio State) also stand out as top prospects. The interesting part, though, is both of them have a teammate—Donovan Edwards and Miyan Williams, respectively—who might be a top-10 player at the position too.

  1. If you think Ohio State has an impressive group of wide receivers, you might want to collect your breath for defensive linemen.
This season, the Buckeyes' first-string unit is set to showcase (a theoretical left-to-right of) Jack Sawyer, Michael Hall Jr., Tyleik Williams and JT Tuimoloau. All four players—obviously early in the cycle—are viewed as top-32 prospects on Mock Draft Database's consensus big board.
    That is silliness.

Football Wednesday spring-camp injury updates

We did not see practice at all this morning, but it sounds like both Zen Michalski and Ja'Had Carter avoided any significant setbacks from the injuries in the scrimmage. Steele Chambers left the practice field today on a scooter with no cleat on one foot, but that also doesn't appear to be a long-term issue and Ohio State doesn't have to push it with either him or Tommy Eichenberg during camp.

TTUN Delusion

There really is no intelligence up there is there...

"After his alma mater has ended its past two regular seasons with wins against Ohio State, former Michigan wide receiver Braylon Edwards thinks the Buckeyes are in the same spot as the Wolverines were when they lost to Appalachian State in 2007"

"That program is falling apart and recruits can see it."

Damn someone better tell these kids that just committed and are about to commit that Ohio State is falling apart...
