Scholarship Totals: FB & BB

So awhile back I made a scholarship chart for the football team. I tried my best to make it accurate but I'm sure I may have made a mistake or two. Hopefully not though.

Yesterday I decided to do the same with the basketball team. Obviously that is a lot easier to keep track of as there are a lot less moving parts 🤣 They are both a part of the same link so if you are interested, you can take a look at them both. Just have to click on which you would like to see at the bottom of the page.

Maybe if I'm lucky I can get Birm, Bill, or Austin to check them out and let me know if they see any errors lol. If anybody else sees any errors, please let me know so I can make the proper adjustments to keep it accurate.

Football Ohio State Mini Pro Day

Birm, Bill and I had a chance to tag along with Cam Brown for the Dream Chaser series and see something pretty cool the strength program does for the NFL-bound Buckeyes, putting together a sort of full-speed walk through for how Pro Day will work next Wednesday.

There will be a couple interviews coming for more insight on that, but I'll say a guy who has a chance to really help himself with the testing numbers will be Tanner McCalister. That dude put on a show on the bench and in the 40, and he probably deserved a Combine invite given how much productive football he's played.

Holtmann Notre Dame rumors thread

@AustinWard @Bill Landis any rumblings about this on y’all’s end? Holtmann is active in transfer market so it seems maybe nonsense. Either way I’d like to not hear “it’s Ohio State fans fault” like:

Because we are allowed to negatively react to a sub .500 team that has weird rotations, has to revote on captains and goes 1-14 for almost all of January and February.

Also @Bill Landis I know you briefly touched on Brice’s future but any expanding would be great.

Maximizing the run game—Hartline and Frye

@Bill Landis I wish Hartline would have been asked about the run game during his media availability. With 2 new tackles, a new center, and a new quarterback, I think establishing a running game will be key this year. I am curious what the plan is for that. I am hoping that the run game will look a lot more creative than last year. I wasn’t super impressed with Hartline’s answers to the questions he was asked. Either he is keeping things very close to the vest or they may be breaking him in slowly. I am curious if they will use the pistol or more under center to give the run game more of an advantage. Maybe more 2 back or 2 tight end sets. More motion. It would be great to know what hartline’s thoughts on all of this will be. I don’t know that he would give much of an answer but it would interesting to hear what he would say.
