It’s game day for by the Week. Lots of good games this weekend!

Houston gives an overall update with detail on his relationship with the Buckeyes.

It's a pay site, but the gist is that Meyer was dominant in all four of his conference stops, Saban in only one.


Meyer has a far better record in big games, bowl games, and against arch-rivals.

Meyer has the third best winning percentage in the history of the sport, Frank Leahy and Knute Rockne are the only ones ahead of him.

Meyer took over sub-optimal programs and immediately elevated them all. Even Ohio State was 6-7 when Meyer arrived, and he immediately turned them into a 12-0 team that would've won the national title in his first season if not for Jim Tressel's NCAA penalties.

It's always taken Saban much longer, and in Michigan State's case he didn't really elevate them at all until year 5 when he finally won nine games.

Obviously winning 7 titles will carry more weight with many folks, but Meyer's record in big games, winning percentage, and his incredible mark against arch-rivals is the cornerstone of the argument.

Don't know if I agree, but the author made an interesting argument.

But he’s looking ahead to enrolling at Ohio State in January.

Sweden is refusing to release the results of their investigation to other countries and are dropping out of the further investigations with Germany and Denmark. Why would Sweden investigate and then refuse to share results? What's the point of the effort?

Posted this on the Tennessee board since there's a report about him potentially visiting there this weekend.

There is no confirmation that the five-star WR who is committed to Ohio State but was heavily involved with Tennessee will be in Knoxville this weekend.

Some of his IMG teammates are visiting for this weekend's game and they're trying to convince him to come but there has not been a determination yet whether Tate will make the trip yet.

Anyone else keep having issues with the site crashing and an AOL “we’re working on that” (or something similar) come up? It happens a dozen times a day, combined with the cookies pop up I always get… oh and the site will also load halfway and not load everything..

Anyone else having these issues? I’m on safari.

Expect FOX to make an announcement during Big Noon today about the kick time for Ohio State at Penn State. I have heard nothing different than what I’ve already reported about a noon start, and I would wager a large amount that’s what will be confirmed.
