Sadly I have to watch this game around other people in a very public setting (birthday party). I’ve got Ohio State by a score of 33-27. Really wish one of the sports books would put up a Carnell Tate yardage line but thus far I haven’t seen one. He’s got my vote for MVP tonight.

Who was coach who was not at team meeting what was the story behind it? Austin left us hanging.

I, like a lot of fans have been consumed with perfection for the past 10 years or so. For me it felt natural because I live in Bama an deal with the Gumps every day, they are the same. This year I am just going to enjoy every Saturday. I know a bunch of y'all will say it's only week 2 and I don't know shit. Well I do know football and have won a Natty, not at D1 but I know what it takes. The absolute Achilles heel for this team is the O line. The saving grace for this team will be the D. If the D line gets better every week they have a chance to exceed my expectations.
I am also an expert at eating crow. I hope one of you degenerates brings this back up at the end of November proving me wrong. I'd be happy to have smoked crow.
Watching games with no expectations will be awesome. O-H

I'm over the Justin Frye experiment. I know talent is down but the line isn't doing even the basic stuff right. It is like they don't even practice getting into the second level. The national pundits are correct, we are still soft at the line. There has to be someone out there that can just fix this issue... most Big Ten offensive lines are outperforming Ohio States and it is getting WORSE than better. I don't think this is debatable, do you?

Brown said he got caught trying to do too much in the competition against Kyle McCord. Now, he feels like he's playing his game and he's eager to show what that looks like in the Cotton Bowl.

We'll watch another 15 minutes of practice today and then get some time with Brian Hartline and a handful of the Buckeyes offensive players.

In the 11:00 p.m. thread I wrote that I think it's a "toss-up" on the Jeremiah McClellan front. As of 1:00 am on NSD, I think it's moved in Ohio State's direction and would (again I freaking hate percentages) put it about 75/25 for the Buckeyes.

Oregon's certainly not going to stop trying to steal him away so I guess it's "stay tuned" but things are moving in a good direction last I've heard.
