Question for the Fire Ryan Day crowd

Or for anyone that has an opinion, I suppose:

Which current college coaches are you convinced would do a better job at OSU than Day?

I am very much in the pro-Day camp. My list would be:

Kirby Smart
Ageless Nick Saban
Kalen Deboer (largely because I’m a fanboy. I’m not sure if he could actually handle being at OSU with everything that entails)
I’d entertain Mike Norvell, but he wouldn’t be on my list.

And that’s the list. For me. Replace assistant coaches? Have at it! I don’t see many coaches as good as Day in the current college landscape.

Where will McCord go?

Wonder where Kyle will go? People have already brought up Maryland and Rutgers. Michigan St would be an option with their new coach with a pro style offense. Kentucky has done well with transfers. So has Florida St. Pitt and BC both could be options. I haven’t looked at depth charts but wonder who would be good fits. McCord will be a solid starter and hope he can find a place that can use his talents. He needs a good offensive line and running game and defined reads to make up for some of his weaknesses in movement in the pocket and decision making. I hope it works out and he finishes his career well!

Uh Oh!!!

With what happened yesterday is the SEC going to get left out? If so does that mean TTUN has a fairly easy path to Championship game? Is Florida St going to be a 4 seed? Ugh.... Best case is leave FSU out and Bama or Georgia at 4, who would roll over TTUN. Then would face probably Texas which wouldnt be easy. Just some mindless rambling

What it would take for OSU to make the CFP

It is a huge long shot and maybe OSU doesn’t even deserve it (I would argue they do) but her goes:
1. Georgia beats Alabama
2. Florida State loses to Louisville.
3. Texas loses to Okalahoma St.

CFP would be:
1. Georgia
2. Michigan
3. Winner of Washington/Oregon.
4 Ohio State.

Don’t love our chances without CJ but would take a shot regardless. Doesn’t even seem that far fetched that this could happen.
